It’s not as if we set out to compare ourselves to other writers; however, it’s inevitable that it’ll happen. One acquaintance gets a huge book deal, but you’re still self-publishing. Another gets reviewed in the New York Times, but you can’t even get a review from anyone other than your mother on Amazon. Sucks to be you, or does it?
