New York Public Library’s Youth Materials Collections Specialist Elizabeth Bird is getting her own show. Fuse 8 TV is a monthly webcast featuring interviews with kid lit and young adult authors whose names you’ll know. The live show is part of a collaborative effort with publishing houses Scholastic, Penguin Random House, Little Brown, Macmillan, HarperCollins, and School Library Journal. Fuse 8 TV is an offshoot of Bird’s NYPL literary salons.
