San Francisco based author Donna Gwinnell Lambo-Weidner may have written the most fun wrap-up about taking the “Essentials of a Picture Book” class, with Southampton Writer’s Conference instructor Dan Yaccarino. Instead of writing in prose, Lambo-Weidner elects to engage her reader in rhyme while reiterating some of the important lessons gleaned from Yaccarino’s class.
